Glossary term
Give-and-Go
Quick one-two combination where a player passes and immediately moves to receive the return ball in space.
In depth
Universal in football, but executed at higher tempo in futsal because of the tight space. Often used to bypass an aggressive presser by passing into a teammate and sprinting beyond the press line.
Examples
- ›Ala plays a one-two with the pivot to break the press and arrive at goal.
- ›Sometimes called 'pared' (wall) in Spanish — the teammate acts as a passing wall.
